I decided to have an addition built onto my house. I have always wanted to have a family room, and I finally decided it was time to get what I wanted. My brother recommended a builder in Bristol, one that he had used in the past for several different projects. I know how picky my brother is, so I knew that this builder had to be a good one. He came over so he could give my wife and I an estimate on how much it would cost. When I told him that I had always wanted to have a large porch also, he showed me how I could get both things I wanted.

The family room would work best on the back of the house since the kitchen is back there too. It would be accessible from the hallway or kitchen, and the bathroom is right next to it too.
